Why did you choose King? I chose King because when I came on my recruiting visit the men’s soccer team the
campus made me feel welcome and I felt like I was at home.
What do you like best about King? Being able to communicate with my teachers and get to know them, which I would not
be able to do if I attended a bigger school.
What is the best thing about living on campus? Unlimited meal plan
What are your plans after college? After I graduate King I hope to attend graduate school somewhere in the UK or the
US and travel the world for a few years while gaining job experience in the fields
of marketing or economics.
What is having a roommate like? Having a roommate is great because there is always someone around you can talk and
hang out with, especially when living so close together.
How are you coping with being away from home? I really enjoy being far away from home and being able to experience something different;
it has really opened my eyes to how beautiful this part of the country is.
What is your favorite class? Any economics or marketing class taught here at King.
Who has influenced you the most - Who was one of your mentors? My mom is definitely the most influential person in my life; she has always been there
for me and is the person who has motivated me to try and be successful in school and
What was your most rewarding extracurricular activity? I think my experience with the Men’s Soccer team has been very rewarding being able
to meet people from all over the world in a similar situation as me.
What was your most interesting summer work? In the summer of my freshman year I got to work on the marketing team for Unilever
and had the best time of my life!
What is your favorite memory of King? The first day I arrived, I was really unsure what to expect and a little bit nervous.
All the people here at King made me feel at home and helped me settle in much faster
than I thought.
Did you study abroad or participate in mission trips? Where? How were they beneficial?
As an international student at King this has been the best cross cultural experience
I could ever get. Not only has it enabled me to mature and grow as a person but it
has provided me with the opportunity to experience a culture I never would have had
the chance to if I didn’t come here.
Did you participate in any internships while at King? Where? How were they beneficial?
This summer I have accepted an internship being an Economic Development student and
I can’t wait to see what this summer has in store.
Do you have a message to students relative to their own journey? Enjoy the ride.
If you are graduating with student debt, do you feel it will be easily manageable?
Yes I feel my debt is very manageable considering where I hope to be after I graduate
How does your student debt compare to your friends who attended other schools? School is less expensive back home, so it is not really comparable.
