Install Instructions for iOS

How It Works

  • Office 365 Pro Plus is available to all enrolled King University students at no cost.
  • Each subscription license allows you to run Office 365 Pro Plus on up to 5 devices – MacPC, or mobile (iOS, Android, and Windows Phone).
  • Office 365 can be used offline; however, students must connect to the Internet once every 30 days to verify they are still eligible for the program.

Getting Started

  • On your iPad/iPhone, tap on the App Store icon.
  • Once in the App Store, tap in the search box in the upper right corner of the screen and type “Microsoft” to search for the Office 365 Microsoft Apps.

  • Tap Get and then Install on the Microsoft App you want.  You will need to do this for each Microsoft App you want to install on your iPad/iPhone.
  • Enter your Apple ID password and tap OK.

  • The Microsoft App you selected will begin to download and install on your iPad/iPhone.

  • Once the installation is complete, tap OPEN to open the Microsoft App.

  • The Office 365 Sign In screen will appear.  Tap Sign in to activate your Microsoft app.

  • Enter your King Student email address and tap Next to verify your eligibility for Office 365.

  • On the Office 365 sign in screen, enter your King Student email address again and your Portal password.  Tap Sign in.

  • Your Microsoft App will now activate.
  • On the Get Notified screen, you can choose to have notifications sent to your iPad/iPhone or you can choose Not Now to continue.

  • When the activation is complete, you will see the You’re All Set screen.  Tap Create and Edit Documents to get started.

  •  You can now use your Microsoft Office product on your iPad/iPhone.  If you want to install additional Microsoft Apps, please tap on the Office Apps icon in the lower left corner of the screen.

  • You can now choose the additional Microsoft Apps to install by tapping on the Get button and then following these directions again.
