I have over 20 years of experience in community colleges, universities, and the military. I have been a faculty member, department chair, program coordinator, dean, and most recently I retired as the Vice President for Computer Services and Security at Pamlico Community College in Bayboro, NC. I am pleased to return to my true passion, teaching. Not just teaching but teaching at King. I previously taught at King from 2012 to 2017.
While serving in the U.S. Navy, I worked at the Office of Naval Intelligence in Washington, D.C. and I look forward to bringing my cybersecurity expertise gained while at ONI and during my tenure as CIO at Pamlico Community College.
Beyond my professional life, I am deeply rooted in my personal interests and family. I live in New Bern, NC with my wife Heather, who holds an MBA from King University. We have one adult daughter, Harper. Together, we enjoy a home filled with two dogs (Annie an Australian Cattle Dog and Callie a Yorkshire Terrier) and two cats (Fortune Cookie and Lucy). I have a passion for sustainable living, raising chickens for fresh eggs, growing microgreens, beekeeping, and fishing.
