King University SMS Terms and Conditions

King University may use SMS text messaging to communicate with students, employees, applicants, alumni, vendors, and other individuals who interact with the university. These messages are intended for one to one conversational communication with assigned King University employees and may include support follow up, appointment coordination, account or service updates, admissions or enrollment assistance, academic or administrative coordination, and other university related communications.

SMS Opt In and Call to Action

King University collects SMS opt in during one to one university business interactions, either in person or by phone, when an individual asks to communicate with King University by text message or provides a mobile number for text follow up.

King University employees use the following opt in statement before sending SMS messages:

“King University can communicate with you by text message for one to one university related conversations, including support follow up, appointment coordination, account or service updates, admissions or enrollment assistance, academic or administrative coordination, and other university business communications. Do you agree to receive SMS text messages from King University at this mobile number? Message frequency varies based on the conversation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out. Mobile phone numbers are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.”
SMS consent is optional and is not required to receive services from King University.

By providing your mobile phone number to King University, replying to a King University SMS message, requesting assistance by text message, or otherwise asking to communicate with King University by text, you consent to receive SMS text messages from King University at the mobile number provided.

Message frequency varies based on the nature of the conversation. King University SMS messaging is not intended for mass marketing, affiliate marketing, or automated promotional messaging.

Message and data rates may apply. SMS delivery is subject to mobile carrier availability and is not guaranteed.

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from a King University number at any time by replying STOP. After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS messages from that number unless you reply START to resume messaging.
