Why Choose King’s AGACNP Program?
Our Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) program integrates advanced clinical knowledge with real-world, faith-based experience, empowering you to act with confidence, empathy, and grace in high-stakes hospital settings. Advanced nurses with an interest in emergency, intensive care, trauma, and post-acute-care rehabilitation environments for patients 18 and older will find this degree tailored to their continued development as a leader.
This is a fully online program with small class sizes.
Concentrations
Choose from two paths:
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Post-Master’s Certificate
AGACNP Admission Requirements
Prospective students for the AGACNP program should be able to present:
- A minimum 3.0 GPA with BSN from a regionally accredited institution
- Unencumbered RN license in state where AGACNP will be completed
- A 300-word essay in APA format on provided prompt
- A current CV or resume that lists scholarly accomplishments, participation in professional organizations, and community service
- Two recommendations – name and email address for each reference to be included at the time of application
Alumni with a BSN from King may qualify for PREFERRED ADMISSION to the AGACNP degree program.
Students completing the BSN from King may apply for GUARANTEED ADMISSION to a MSN program during the final semester of the BSN program.

Laptop computer with Microsoft Office 365, wireless and webcam capability is required. Microsoft Office 365 is available to all King students to load on the PC or Mac and is accessible at Office.com using their King University credentials.
